Junaid heads the Partnerships distribution of Watania Takaful. Junaid has been part of Takaful industry in UAE since 2008. He is and expert in product structuring, process setup and distribution of Life and Personal Lines business.
At present Junaid’s role is to look after distribution partnerships channel of Watania Takaful. He has been managing distribution of retail business via banks, brokers, aggregators and on ‘direct to consumer’ basis for Watania (formerly Noor Takaful). In addition to this Junaid also manages commercial business requirements of Large Corporates and Banks.
Junaid has over 24 years of experience in Insurance/Takaful business in Pakistan and UAE. Before joining Watania Takaful, Junaid was part of another Takaful Company in UAE for 5 years and has been heading Banca & Broker Distribution of IL Sales.
Junaid, has joined Watania Takaful (formerly known as Noor) in April 2014, he is an MBA (major in Islamic Finance) with Insurance qualifications of FLMI.
