Rakesh Sudhakaran joined Oman Insurance Company in 2017 as Head of Bancassurance. He is currently responsible to manage the Life, General and Commercial insurance business through Bancassurance and Affinity distribution. He is a seasoned financial services professional with 23 years of experience, including 17 years in the Middle East market. Before joining Oman Insurance, he held various senior positions with Zurich, Mashreq and ALICO in the Middle East. Rakesh has a passion for digital distribution and he was instrumental in pioneering a few of the successful digital Bancassurance & Affinity distribution models in the region through strategic partnerships. Rakesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance.
