Mark Scott is the Deputy CEO of Al Futtaim Willis Co. LLC (AFW) in the United Arab Emirates, where he plays a major role in driving business growth, customer retention and operational excellence. Before taking the role of Deputy CEO, Mark was head of the Governance, Risk and Compliance team within AFW, developing policies, procedures, and processes to align business operations with its regulatory obligations.
Mark is a highly experienced insurance professional with over 30 years in the industry, including 15 years in the Middle East, where he has held various senior management positions. As a business leader, he focuses on good corporate governance, service excellence, talent development and maintaining a positive corporate culture.
Mark is ACII qualified and holds Chartered Insurance Practitioner status. Mark also holds a Master of Science Degree in Risk Management from Glasgow Caledonian University in the UK.
