Guido Zagatti is a Global Insurance and Reinsurance Officer with a multifaceted profile enriched by diverse business experiences in Underwriting, Inward/Outward Reinsurance, Technical Governance, Business Development, Claims.
He worked in various International Hubs spanning from the UK, Italy, UAE and the MENA region with supervision over various European, Asian and South American markets as well.
He spent 20 years with the Generali Group were, amongst other roles, he was the:
CUO of the Middle East Regional Office
Group Head of P&C Treaty Retrocession Placement
Global Head of P&C Facultative Reinsurance
Currently Guido is the Group Chief Technical Officer of Liva Insurance Group (former RSA Middle East) Commercial lines division.
His main achievements span from underwriting turnaround of stagnant business into success story, maximization of technical profit retention by structuring smart reinsurance framework and governance, innovating and automating processes boosting operational efficiency and data quality improvement.
Guido’s holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
