Peter is a partner in Clyde & Co’s Middle East Financial Services Group with a specific focus on financial services and (re)insurance regulation. An English qualified lawyer, Peter has over 20 years experience working for local and international entities in the financial sector.
Peter has advised many entities in relation to their operations across the GCC and has particular expertise in relation to the laws of the UAE (including the Dubai International Financial Centre), Qatar (including the Qatar Financial Centre) and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He regularly advises on regulatory issues in relation to the licensing of financial services sector entities, the development and distribution of products, conduct of business requirements and insurance and reinsurance arrangements.
Peter regularly speaks at events as well as providing in-house seminars to the firm's clients. He has had numerous articles published in the UK and Middle Eastern national press and insurance sector publications.
