Simon S. Price is the Head of Family & Health Takaful at Salama. He is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and the performance these key business lines. He has extensive management, financial and commercial experience in the insurance sector with over 23 years’ experience in markets across Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Simon has held a variety of leadership roles ranging from CEO, CFO, Head of Strategy, M&A to Digital Transformation. Prior to joining the Salama he was the CEO of the DIFC Insurance Association leading the insurance community in the DIFC and driving its activity in ESG and diversity.

Simon is a graduate in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham and qualified with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK.
