Bore, a Director at EY MENA, is the Insurance Leader for the MENA region at EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS). His expertise lies in implementing accounting regulations, such as IFRS, that have a transformational impact on insurers.
His journey began in 2007 as a management trainee at a prominent regional insurer in the Netherlands. He later joined PwC Amsterdam, where he assisted banks and insurers in implementing new accounting standards. The transformative nature of these standards provided Bore with an excellent opportunity to contribute to end-to-end solutions for the financial services industry, gaining exposure across regulation, financial processes, data flows, financial reporting, and risk management.
In February 2022, Bore moved to EY Dubai to support the Transactions team. By October 2022, he transitioned to the Insurance team, where he took on the role of Insurance Leader for MENA FAAS.
Bore holds an MSc in International Economics and Business and is certified by both ACCA and FRM.
