Cameron has worked as an actuary for 8 years focusing primarily on motor insurance pricing and is an expert in machine learning. He started his career at Willis Towers Watson before leaving to start his own consulting business. Since then, he has led a wide range of projects for insurance companies and consultancies as well as filling in on interim roles.Cameron decided to start Polysurance after experiencing the limitations of current telematics systems for underwriting and pricing. His hypothesis was that the advancements in machine learning from self-driving cars could be the key missing piece to fully understanding driving behaviour.
