Simon is currently the Head of Family & Health Takaful at Salama, responsible for all aspects of these business lines. He is a qualified actuary with 23 years’ experience
in insurance markets across Europe, Middle East and Asia, with over a decade based in the UAE.

Simon has held a variety of leadership roles ranging from CEO, CFO, Head of Strategy, M&A to Digital Transformation.
Prior to joining Salama he was the CEO of the industry trade body in the DIFC after a successful 21 year career with Zurich.

Simon is a graduate in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham and qualified with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK.
