Personal Profile
Amir Safari holds a Ph.D. from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany, where he specialized in the application of artificial intelligence - particularly machine learning - in finance. He possesses deep expertise in machine learning, insurance processes, and risk analysis. Amir led the design and implementation of a risk-based solvency framework for the Iranian insurance industry, covering credit, liquidity, market, underwriting, and catastrophic risks. This framework was formally adopted as By-law No. 69 by the Iranian Insurance High Council. He co-founded an Insurtech (RiskTech) company. In recognition of his contributions to the FinTech sector, he was nominated as a Global Talent by the Australian Computer Society.
